About
Meet the Founders
We’re Aphrodite & Jacqueline, two women who met at a time when both of us were questioning the way we’d been living. On the outside, life looked full and busy.
Underneath, we were feeling the nudge to slow down, come back to ourselves, and live with more intention.
What started as conversations became a shared way of making sense of life. Between us, we hold both the grounded and the intuitive, the practical and the unseen. One of us naturally anchors in the body, patterns, and what helps life feel steadier day to day. The other listens for the deeper signal, names what’s hard to explain, and brings it into language you can live by. In many ways, we open each other up, expanding the parts of ourselves that might otherwise stay quiet. Together, we keep it honest, anchored, and open.
Lumina was born from late-night voice notes, shared books and podcasts, and a growing frustration that the most useful wisdom is scattered everywhere. We wanted to create a home where evidence and ancient knowing can sit side by side, where personal stories illuminate something universal, and where community becomes the steady container for transformation.
At its heart, Lumina reflects the journey we are still on ourselves: learning, questioning, integrating, and remembering that we don’t have to do it alone.
Integration
We connect the dots between what you learn, what you feel, and how you live, so growth becomes simple, natural, and sustainable.
Story + Wisdom
Real conversations and lived moments, paired with ideas from many places, so you can take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.
Practices + Support
Tools, prompts, and gentle accountability to help you integrate the work, with community there when you want it, not as the centre.
What We Believe
- Wellness isn’t a destination, it’s a lifelong practice of coming home to yourself
- Everything is connected: your body, your mind, your story, your energy, your environment
- We don’t choose between science and spirit, we integrate what helps and stay open to both
- Your lived experience matters, and story turns insight into something you can actually carry
- Change lands deeper with support, practices you can return to, and community when it serves you
- We accept that logic isn’t always the way forward, sometimes we move with quiet certainty into the unknown
